This January has been going by so fast this year which is so different from all my previous Januarys. Usually, they’re kind of a drag but this one went all quick-like.

Probably all of these are going to be things that I knew theoretically before but actually sunk in for me this year. It’s funny how that works, isn’t it? You sometimes have to go through some things to actually realize something for yourself.
- Emotions are guides – not something you should follow. Don’t base your beliefs on your emotions. if you don’t feel the presence of God doesn’t mean He’s not there. His presence, His voice, His truth are not based on our feelings, beliefs and emotions.
- perfectionism is a waste of time.
- you can be blessed and stressed all at the same time
- having a bad day doesn’t mean you have a bad life
- being honest with yourself is a big step. living in denial is actually a LOT more stressful.
- if you ask, you will receive. God wants us to ask when we pray.
- you don’t have to constantly find things to fix in yourself.
- if you look for miracles, you will find them. the opposite is also the same. if you look for flaws, you will always find them.
- sometimes circumstances or successes give you a certain high. don’t depend on that high – depend on hope. that will give you peace.
- Twilight is actually kinda of an epic movie series (I haven’t read the books just watched the movie). It’s definitely not a masterpiece but enjoyable nevertheless. Can we just talk about that baseball scene though, am I right?
- life is a balancing act. you can’t just focus on your career or your relationships.
- the flaws that you see in yourself. what if they’re not flaws but how it’s supposed to be and how God will show His glory through You.
- Taylor Swift is pretty great. Tbh, I was never a swiftie but I can’t stop listening to her new album.
- Start your day and all your meals with protein and your brain will feel clearer the rest of the day.
- Check your intentions. Check your heart.
- Take Magnesium. Helped me with my brain fog, my sleep, my energy. Love.
- don’t put up a mask when you pray. Jesus didn’t die for the fake you but for the real, raw, genuine you. I mean, check out David’s Psalms – that’s a lot of emotion in there.
- I moved out by myself in 2022 and I love it so much.
- I’m learning not to be so hard on myself.
- I’m learning to trust the process. God’s process.
- I’m learning how to connect with myself, God and others.
- God is with me in our hills and in the valleys. All because we think something is a valley in our life, it doesn’t mean that it’s not in God’s will for us. It just means that its either something outside our comfort zone or something we don’t know we need.
